Theme: Climate change, nature and the environment; expressed through landscapes, seascapes, wild fauna or flora or environmentally aware people or thought-provoking images.
All mediums accepted
Non-acquisitive
All works must be for sale
All work must be the original creation of the artist. Copies and assisted works are unacceptable.
Prizes at judges’ discretion. Selection and judging is anonymous by independent judges on merit and relevance – their decision is final.
Finalists will be notified of selection before 3 March 2024. Finalists then send the work of art for display and final judging.
Finalists to be exhibited in The Royal South Australian Society of Arts Gallery
Institute Building, corner of North Terrace and Kintore Avenue, Adelaide
22 March 2024 – 21 April 2024
Prizes
Total prizes awarded to the value of $68,000.
Winners receive Natural Technology Systems, Prospect vouchers for Solar Q Cell Panels/solar hot water/battery/refrigerator (low power)/ composting toilet /or solar pool pump – All fully installed.
No one receives more than one prize.
Prizes are transferable to family or friends in South Australia.

Second Overall Prize
$9,000 voucher for solar products from NTS Prospect or $500 cash

How to enter
Entry fees
Entry fees according to size including frame & stands:
$5 discount for RSASA MEMBERS
$10 – less than an A4 (60square cm) 2D or 3D base
$20 – average size – less than 1 square metre 2D & 3D base
$35 – large size- 1-2 square metres
$50 – very large size – 2-6 square metres
Weight limit 75kg for all 3D: it must safely stand alone
Selection will be by hard copy photo
What to submit
- signed and completed entry form
- entry fee
- high quality photo of the work of art, A4 size
- labelled on the back with name and title for selection and publicity
- titles must be less than 7 words
- optional statement describing the relevance of the subject, less than 25 words

Entry fees must accompany entry.

Credit cards are not accepted.
Entry fees are non-refundable.
Sales
Sales of works will be at the artist’s nominated price.
A 30% commission will be retained by the RSASA.
Diptychs or triptychs will only be sold as one piece.
Artists are responsible for their own insurance.
