Solar Art Prize is selling art at the Prospect Spring Fair this October to help fund the prize in 2019.
And who is sponsoring the booth? None other than Natural Technology Systems, the solar product guys who have backed the Solar Art Prize with major prizes of solar products since 2009.
The winner of the People’s Choice award for the 2018 Solar Art Prize was announced at the end of the exhibition on 17 June 2018: Congratulations to Paul Whitehead with Tasmanian Mist – Lake King William Oils
Founder, donor, coordinator and curator of the Solar Art Prize, Pip Fletcher, thanks everyone involved for entering their works of art, all the behind-the-scenes work particularly by Bev Bills, and everyone who came along to the opening, especially The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Martin Haese, who opened the 2017 Solar Art Prize, and the Honourable Dr Susan Close, MP, who opened the 2018 Solar Art Prize.
The exhibition runs until 17 June in the first floor of the Institute Building on the corner of North Terrace and Kintore Street.
