8th Solar Art Prize winners

MAJOR PRIZE WINNERS

The Overall Winner of the 2017 Solar Art Prize was Janet Ayliffe with The  Banded Stilts , etching.  Janet won an $8,000 voucher for Solar Products from Natural Technology Systems Prospect, donated by Pip Fletcher.

 

The Landscape / Seascape prize was awarded to Anthony Smith OAM for Symphony in Nature in pen and ink.  Tony won a $5,000 voucher for Solar Products from Natural Technology Systems Prospect donated by Pip Fletcher.

 

The NTS Wild or Endangered Fauna or Flora Prize was awarded to Alison Broughton-Wright for Impermanence.  Alison won a $5,000 voucher for Solar Products donated by Natural Technology Systems Prospect.

 

The People Prize was awarded to Kimberley McGarr for Anthropocene, mixed media.  Kimberley won a $5,000 voucher for Solar Products from Natural Technology Systems Prospect donated by Pip Fletcher.

The Public Responsibility Prize was awarded to Barry Lincoln for Rock-Ice-Water in Macclesfield marble.  Barry won a $5,000 voucher for Solar Products from Natural Technology Systems Prospect donated by Pip Fletcher.

HANGERS’ CHOICE

Brooke Walker was awarded the Hangers Choice Prize for Great Barrier Reef.

 

Prizewinners also received an Aussie Animal Sanctuary board game donated by Pip Fletcher.
